About Ariele
Hello, I am Ariele Bauers (she/her pronouns), RN, PMHNP, CNM. My areas of expertise are helping people to manage their mental health through pregnancy and the post partum period, treatment of complex trauma, mood/anxiety disorders and addiction. My clinical experience has focused on caring for girls, women and femme individuals. I am open to working with men and masculine folks, and if this is you, please be patient and help me along as I learn. I strive to be body affirming, sexuality positive and trauma informed. I take a humanistic, developmental approach to therapy. I focus on getting to know my patients, helping them identify their needs and goals, and then supporting them in their growth. I try to be gentle, honest and kind.
Jewel Box is a small provider-owned practice providing mental health and psychiatric care in Albuquerque, NM. Services include psychiatric diagnostics, individual therapy and medication management.
What to expect:
The first few visits are all about understanding your background and developing a plan of care, and include a comprehensive health/psychiatric history and evaluation. Most return visits are 45 minutes and include both medication management and therapy. I do not routinely prescribe benzodiazepines, and am judicious and careful when prescribing controlled substances.
Insurance credentialing is pending for all NM Centennial plans, and select commercial insurance plans. Cash pricing is $150 per visit, and a reduced fee is available for those in need.
